A great day out. Amazingly lucky with the weather and a lot of fantastic cars. I've got a few more to go through but here's the first batch:

Lovely work as usual. Do you mind if I can use the ones of mine?

Was a great day. Tricky in the morning sessions, especially for those new to the circuit, but near perfect later. As ever, exemplary driving and courtesy - a real pleasure.

Red GT3RS is a mate of mine, said it was tricky in the morning being damp but had a cracking afternoon.

There were a few there for the first time too. It's nerve wracking to learn in the wet. IMHO the bit from Druids is tricky because of the trees (just make things that bit slippier) and the bumps and undulations.

Thankfully, as usual, driving was excellent and the only stoppages were a couple of mechanicals, with no serious offs and no wrecks or bends. Everyone went home happy boys & girls.

He sent me a pic of one of the cup cars being trailered back after losing one of it's rear wheels.

There were also a few RSs, GT3s and GT4s fitted with the Manthey track packages very ably supported by RPM who commandeered two garages. One of them was Tim Harvey's personal 991.2RS where he consistently ran 1' 45s even with ballast/passenger !!. He shot past me just before the finishing line at the end of the day at breakneck speed. Amazing experience to witness first hand how fast the best pro racing drivers are able to punt their cars compared to average Joes like myself.
The morning was extremely slippery more than just wet and the cars needed very steady inputs to keep on the black stuff. All in all extremely high standards of driving from some of the UK's best drivers.
Have to admit I still find Oulton intimidating to push my RS anywhere near my or the car's limits. I never have those feelings at Silverstone, Donny or Anglesey so I must be still suffering PTSD from the 2019 RS day which was my first ever proper track day.
Still really looking forward to next year's RS day and hopefully can get on one of the two PCGB Oulton track days where I'm on the reserve list. Anyone on here can't make either of those days please PM me.

Yes that did happen, seems like something got stuck between a lower arm and the wheel barrel, which caused some wheel damage. Car was brought to a halt safely and recovered. Could have gone back out but the owner decided not to. Race car built to take it, not a huge issue.
