Personally I f@(^ing hate them and think that the dealers who put these people at the top of their list to get these cars should lose their franchises, but of course the idiots at Porsche UK secretly revel in these bidding wars.

And with Ashgood being top bidder thus far seems like there is trade interest too, surely for it to be worth it to an Indy it needs to be a 200k car ?

For me now, the performance car market is made up of two tiers: (1) ridiculously priced ornaments, visible in magazines and collections and entirely unobtainable even in years to come; and (2) good stuff that is obtainable in some shape or form, or will be in future.

I have zero interest these days in the former - they are incredible etc but I'm utterly tired of the profiteering and playing to the 0.1%.
