Hi,

As per the title really.

I now have a 2004 Cayenne S with the very effective and reliable standard satnav fitted, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to adjust the volume of the woman issuing the instructions.

I've been through the various menus, been through the manuals etc - but I cant see how to do it.

Anyone able to shed any light on the matter for me please.

Thanks in advance.
Dom

If it is the same as on my PCM2.1, you just set the volume while she is speaking.

Edit: using the volume knob.......

I thought I'd tried that, but I'll give it another go...

Bloody annoying that ive had to turn off everything else 'noise making' in the car up until now whenever Ive needed the satnav assistance...

Thanks, I'll give it a bash thumbup

I'd have to nip outside and check properly but it took me a year to suss this out! On the navi button on the PCM there are settings and the volume for the directions can be adjusted there. Hope this helps.

Many thanks.

This looks to me like I may have been here before but not 'Set' my changes when doing so!

I'll give it a whirl!

Went through this process on a little jaunt out this afternoon and its all sorted!

Must have just experienced extreme brain fade first time round!

Thanks!

Can anyone please advise how I can disable the Satnav voice function on my 2005 Cayenne? I know how to control the volume, male or female voice etc but I can’t for the life of me work out the on/off function and it’s driving me nuts! Thanks v much
