I currently use a Durametric Pro Cable but was pondering moving up to a PIWIS Tester II (or clone system). I have a key head to program so seems like an opportunity consider the purchase now and save myself the £60 or so for programming the key smile It's man logic!

Does anyone own such a system and considering selling? Or any recommendations on where to purchase?

They are pretty expensive, even the Chinese copies. You'd more than likely need to buy from overseas.

Historically I used to notice the odd original PIWIS II on Ebay but not seen anything for a while.

I have one, but to be able to program the key you will need the key bar code and the cars 'teaching' codes.

I have the key code (attached to the fob when purchased from Porsche), no idea what the teaching codes are?

To be able to program the key to the car you need the Key learning code held in IPAS (a database) which is only accessible by Porsche Dealers.

You could ask them to give you the code but they are unlikely to give it to you.

My local specialist, Chris Denning (Cardiff), said they can programme the key. I assume they get the info from Porsche?

I have the same questions on the PIWIS clone, i have post in another thread. Then I emailed the saler. Update Porsche Piwis Tester II clone will adds the models & features, like Macan wiring diagram, service plan etc. Update is not cheap, LOL. Not sure if it is able to reset the electronic parking brake for service, you know, they sale products but not test cars. Good it comes with 1 year warranty.
