Yup, very nice.

The thing that bothers me about these sorts of cars is that you don't know what they'll cost. I'd love one but is it going to be Singer money or 'merely' new 911 money?

Hi, I spoke to them today and that project one car was up near $500,000! I was quite surprised at that. They said to build me a car would be between $300k-$500k dependant on spec and that's not including shipping and UK import taxes

Indeed. Crazy money.

I'd be interested to know what a backdate from the likes of Autofarm or Tuthill would cost. Anyone have any experience of their cars ? I know they both have very good reputations. There's also the likes of Rennsport too ?

I asked Mikey what it would cost to replicate my car the other day and he reckoned probably around 140k now as body panels etc are much harder to come by (along with price of the donor).

Back dates are not worth what they cost, you cannot race them either , odd things which you cannot sell on. Ok if it's a project you plan to keep for ever, but then I would rather a real 911S for just a bit more cash.

Def better off doing a 964 and keeping it a 964. Or buying a real 911S, these cars have resale value and are the real deals.

I do agree. The safest bet is having your money in the real thing. As much as I would love a Singer or a RUF CTR I am not sure I would put such a large sum of money into a car that appeals to a very narrow audience.
