996 GT3 Exhaust Options
Discussion
Has anyone had any experience with M&M exhaust systems?
In particular, the valved versions?
I was originally considering a full Scart system but, at ~£6,000 for the full deal, it seems to be out of range.
I'd be interested to hear of any experiences with either Scart or M&M exhaust systems, especially a comparison.

I know nothing about Scart systems, but I've run a Manthey (unvalved) system on a Mk1 996 GT3. They sound superb (and produce worthwhile Hp gains).
This is the the later M & M full system on a Mk1 GT3 :

This is the early (M & M and Europipe)

Apologies for the long unedited clip, feel free to fast forward to :
2mins 55 - 3mins 20 .....
4 mins 6 on
They sound noisy from the outside, but they're no intrusive from the inside (and if you've not got your foot buried in the carpet, they're not obnoxious outside either)

I recently had 9e put a full Kline system on mine. It's not boomy or rudely loud , but my word it makes the car. It now sounds semi racer like on tickover alone. At 3-4K revs it breathes so freely that you can feel it raring to go (and almost have to hold it back if road conditions don't allow). Turn the taps to 7k plus all hell simply breaks loose. You will not be disappointed.
