New SCR,

Not sure what the price is, but I imagine it makes a new GT3 look very cheap.

I wish they would build normal cars, not £500k ones.

that car is great bar the inside looks like a we house.

Not seen any interior pics ?

£500k. I suppose if you’re spending that much on this it’s part of a collection...

Be amazed if anyone bought that as their one special car

Be interested to see the quality of the work,as some ctr etc i have seen in the past have not been great.TUV must have been a challenge and expensive

It looks odd because its a bespoke body built on a bespoke chassis, it just LOOKS like a 964.

Its probably the reason why its so expensive too.

I would have hoped for an even lower weight given carbon tub and body - still would quite like one - looks like some type of small 911 while being light weight and new technology

Can’t afford one though unfortunately and at that price point I would need to buy a CGT first.
Would be an awesome (semi-)daily car to put next to the CGT though

The weight just doesn't make sense to me. A full carbon shell and it still comes in at 1250kg empty. I'd have expected 150kg less than this at least.

as it says DIN, it is probably with 90% fuel and might even be with the driver (although not sure about that) - still would have thought a full carbon, smallish 911 should be even lighter

Well done to ruf for doing what we have wanted porsche to do for some time.
I will take the clubsport version with out the awefull interior,100kg less, the seats look very retro lolipops!
Carbon is not always light in the structural zones in such a shape, can be like 7mm thick in places.
Try weighing the gt2rs or new rs,with driver and fuel, most have forgotten what its like to drive a lightweight 911.

On the specs on the Ruf website it quotes 1250kg as the DIN kerb weight so (if true which is a bit of an if in my experience of Ruf) it is in fact pretty light, I know what you mean tho' with a complete new ground up spec with lots of carbon you would have thought they could have made a spectacularly light weight 911...

A tough too much alcantara for my liking but that would easily be sorted.

Just looks so nice, simple and functional compared with the tech loaded modern supercars.

Love RUF. Heading out in the early hours tomorrow and this will be first on my list to see.

Best thing about it? No sports button!
