My wheel nuts don't look as nice and tidy as the rest of the car. They have a tiny bit of scuffing and corrosion on them.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist and every time I wash the car they annoy me.

So, do I just undo them and paint them with some silver spray paint, or is there a better way of doing it ?

Yes - as you suggest, remove and give a quick squirt of silver paint. Will need to do this egularly though (every six months or so maybe)

I’m going to do mine and planned to give them a buzz with the wire brush in the cordless drill first.

On a wheel nut related matter - should the washers have aluslip on them?

Shiny Titanium nuts - but they are £200 !
A can of silver spray paint from Halfrauds will be a couple of quid smile

Also, isn't there some sort of electrolysis when two dis similar metals are together. Doesn't Titanium weld itself to Aluminium after a while unless you use special lube ? I think its called Galvanic corrosion.

Hammerite Smooth silver - nice finish, not too shiny and you don't need to prime it either - if you don't want to take the nuts off - spray into the top and use a small paintbrush to paint them in-situ
