Hi all

I've now had several e-mails from different OPC's, inviting myself and family along to join them in celebrating 70 years of porsche on the 10th of june

The locations vary and each promises a collection of classic models + the full line up of the latest models, lots of entertainment for the whole family and the oportunity to take a test drive if desired.

So a couple of quick questions,

Is anyone here thinking of going along

Is it worth going , or will it be a waste of time and just turn out to be a bunch of salesmen all trying to convince me to part ex my car for a new one which I have no intention of doing.

The Sheffield event is being held at Tankersley manor which may make it a worthwhile day out so has raised my interest.

I’m going to the Bristol one. Booked a test drive in a PDK Cayman S because I’d like to try a PDK. Bristol are pretty classic friendly; I wouldn’t anticipate high pressure sales.

Same here... would love to go to the Cheshire one but alas, already due to be driving up Furka that day...

I've been invited to events at OPC Solihull and Sheffield,

I think I'm giong to attend the Sheffield event, sounds like it might be the better day out.

may try a test drive in the Macan, haven't driven one yet and It's a possibility for next family wagon

I’ve had no less than 16 invites to this, I read the first one and assumed they were all at the same venue. Better read them all know to see what has the best location......
