Porsche approved used: MOT ?

Hi all. I bought an approved used car that was first registered August 2015, so first MOT due in August this year.

I know porsche approved used expect any routine maintenance to be carried out if due within 3k miles. The minimum MOT of 12m is only for cars which are more than 3yrs old.

So just checking that I’m correct in thinking the MOT won’t be provided by the dealer ?

MOT isn't "maintenance" so no, they won't be paying.

Thx. Less about the money, but wasn’t sure if they usually need to have the MOT carried out so that it doesn’t fall due within 3m of the buyer taking possession.

Wow , what a piss take , spend £££ on an approved Porsche and get 3 months MOT !! They should really just offer a free one in 3 months time , imagine if it fails

Surprised they didn't offer the MOT but it will have MOT assurance (if it fails on anything etc).

Call me daft, but what did the dealer say when you asked them?
