Simply Porsche and Bacon Rolls
Discussion
The diversion into the car park and then 45 minutes later rejoining the main road in was rather frustrating - more so for for my wife who wanted the loo. But good to see so many Porsche’s and the weather was stunning
After the carpark diversion delayed us, decided to grab a Bacon roll from a van rather than sit down, sounds like that was a good plan

The diversion into the car park was an absolute joke!!! There were cars that had arrived 30 minutes after us getting in before us!!!! I understand it was busy, but what happened to first come first served? The two muppets at the begining of the road in should get sacked for stupidity

. I'd already spent the morning mowing the lawn at Goodwood with my front spoiler!

To then be sent on a rally stage through the woods
I understand it was busy and everyone has to queue, but that was just rubbing salt into an already open wound.

I was sitting there watching cars that were miles behind me on the way there, breeze past as they didn't get shoved through the car parks!
Great day, though, had some good chats, saw some lovely cars, and the sun was shining the whole time; hard to complain too much about that!
Took some photos while I was wandering about - just one or two of mine next to that lovely Viper Green R...

In total agreement on the catering front, it is awful. We took a picnic from home having learnt last year that all the food is overpriced and rubbish.
Great weather and a good day out, some really nice cars there today. SPY10 GT3 touring was lovely as was the black 72 911 pictured above.
Met some nice people and saw some nice cars in the sun, what could be better,?
Oh getting to drive 300 miles in my new to me Cayman R.
I'm very impressed with the R indeed.

Was awesome that! You need to brave to cut up a turbo as well as it was a rep.
Yep was a replica, but it looked absolutely stunning! Some truly lovely stuff there today, although as mentioned above, it wasn't always easy to find - that 911 T for example, was sitting amongst loads of 996/7 and 986/7 cars, with no other classics anywhere near. Not sure if it was original, but it looked great.
First time at Simply Porsche for me and first Porsche event.
I followed the brown signs that took me through Beaulieu village that meant we were in the right hand lane going in - that went in direct and didn’t get the diversion. Think it took about 20mins from gate to field in the end.
Attended with the Boxa.net members who had about 40cars in total and won the people’s choice award at the end. Took a picnic as i’d been warned that the food wasn’t great.
Some stunning cars there and lots that are now on my shortlist for the next car. I didn’t mind seeing all the models, after all it’s not Simply Porsche sports cars.
Did forget the sun cream though and it was hot!
