Classic Bike Magazine (out today July issue) has some nice stuff on the racing bikes I made and their success.

You see I really did do those things back then!

Yes sorry about that - if anyone can turn the photo I would appreciate it. It is the right way up in my computer - so don't know what happened (although I took it on my I-phone)?

We are about to put our information about the technical benefits of making Porsche engines oversized on our web site and the article in the Classic Bike Magazine actually confirms some of the issues I used to make our bikes faster than works Japanese Opposition back then - and still use today - so there is a small link that will be more evident when our current report hits our web site.

We will publicise when that information is available together with the power and torque graphs for the models involved.

The film wasn't as good as I hoped but it was fascinating being involved and finding out how long it takes to film a simple scene - especially when over 2 or 3 days continuity failed with different weather conditions etc.

I hoped the exposure would result in sponsorship to compete on equal terms with Japanese teams - but it didn't materialise - and it is all history now.

Like a lot of things in life - there is no substitute for being there and finding out for yourself and things are rarely as you expect them to be.

Taking part in the film was just another part of understanding the World and people that hopefully helps manage your life more effectively - but it can make things difficult when others you communicate with still imagine the World works how they think it should despite having never actually been there and finding out.

So much for being too serious - the film is still available - but was only a small part of what I managed to achieve racing in that period.
