CDR-31: Options for IPOD control?

I have a 991 with CDR 31 and AUX jack. What are my options to get a ipod playing rather than use the aux jack?

I have a 981 with the same so also looking. I’m under warranty so will wait till it’s finished before I change anything.

I have spotted a couple of companies offering apple play upgrades.
