That car was delivered last year IIRC from following Emory on Instagram. They make absolutely stunning cars ! Posted a pic of an Emory 356 in another thread a couple of days ago.

Absolutely stunning looking!!!
I'd prefer a coupe body myself, but it would look rather similar if I'd commission one at Emory.

I’d have one of these over a Singer 911. From a styling standpoint, I think it’s more sympathetic to the base car and at around $400k, a bargain by comparison. And I love the 356. It’s timeless.

I love this one. This has a presence I don’t think Singer can match. It looks right. Whereas Singer 911’s look overdone to me.

I have forgotten, that the engine in these are a completely new design, being 4-cyl versions of the 964 6-cyl boxer.
Quitte impressive indeed!!

I remember seeing this on an episode of Jay Lenos Garage a while ago. Well worth a look!!

I'm still drawn to these beautiful little cars. Designed in the days when of vision and passion by an individual. It's rare that anything truly beautiful was designed by committee.

Such a shame that they are so expensive to get hold of

Problem is labour time in the cars and of course a bit of hyped profit, they are amazing.

The engines have been around for years, others make them but rod and a great company rothsport have taken it on to a differant level, especially the twin turbo version.
Last year i spent a week of porsche in cal visiting all the well known race shops and classic porsche shops, its a tour organised every year, friends are there now on it with out me this yearfrown
Could organise for a group of 6 to 8 or so next year.

Someone I know (more an acquaintance than friend I suppose) went on a similar trip last year. Do any of your friends own a 356 Rat Rod ?! The bloke I know does.
