Any idea what goes here?

Hi, got out to my 2005 997 this morning to find a gap beside the driver side wiper base. Not sure if whatever was there has been popped out & nicked overnight.
Had a quick search to see what is supposed to go in there & be connected up but haven’t been too successful so far.
Anyone any ideas?

That’s the same connector I have on my RC cars battery…
Have you got anything connected to the terminals of the battery? Could it be a trickle charger plug?

You have a plastic cap missing.
Here is the similar one on my 996


The electrical connector looks like a charging cable from an optimate /accumate battery charger.
