Sunday for me. CGTS.

Not displaying as there's a restriction on when you can arrive / leave

Same for me, staying at The Wing, so will park and leave my car there and walk in.

There for the weekend, I'd made plans to travel up with R17, so the restriction on arrival time for display made that a non-starter for the Saturday.
All being well, we'll be in our racing yellow Boxster, just right for the Summer solstice (fingers firmly crossed!).

I will go on the Sunday.

I get free tickets from my dealer. I asked for 2 and they gave me 4 so I suspect they have a lot to give away

I wish I’d known that I didn’t bother with my display ticket as I didn’t want to stay trapped until 6 😂

We were amazed by the outside car park - think lots of people had similar thoughts.

I did the same today, I wasn’t the fairest to leave ! The good thing about the display was being in ahead of the crowds. I had a look around before the gates opened and spent a very enjoyable two or three hours over there. All the Porsche factory cars were there open, mechanics around who looked after them and very happy to chat about the cars. Never knew a 917 had active aero in 1969 !

I thought the rest of it was pretty average if I’m honest…the colour theme was obviously borrowed from Rareshades in the US. Makes you appreciate the Luft events and how much trouble they take with the displays. The barn find thing was bizarre ! Seems like selling Porsche’s now is more about how they are specified than how they drive.

Just seemed pretty badly organised…but I am glad it was I was able to walk over to the pits and get a very close look at some very, very special cars.
