LN Engineering s IMS Solution

Hello,

My 996 had LN’s ceramic IMS installed and after 5 years and 50k km the bad thing happened.

I can’t afford sending the engine to Hartech unfortunately.

My mechanic says the IMS Solution, advertised as lifetime replacement, is not as good as LN say. (Unfortunately I am totally hopeless at even conveying what he says to justify his opinion).

What is your opinion? What should I get? Engine is out, new sleeves etc. are in. What should give me peace for another few years (as many as possible)?
