Tracker

Hi all. I’m collecting a boxster gts shortly and luckily my insurer doesn’t require the tracker. In those circumstances do you still get the fobs and how is it activated if a subsequent insurer requires it? Thanks.

if the car was spec'd with the tracker then it should come with two fobs.
if its not currently activated then you take out a subscription online and then get a code that you take along to your OPC and they activate the fobs or something...

You'll get the two fobs, as per above. Suggest keeping them in the car if the tracker isn't going to be activated as I think you may have issues. Can't remember what but it's what I ended up doing with mine as I also don't need a tracker

Yes you get 2 fobs.

If you want to activate the tracker later then you just ring Vodafone Tracker and they activate it.
