I've never seen a PCCBs look like this but don't have them on mine so no expert.

What's the consensus - are the shagged?

Hmm. I would ask to see the car's options sheet. Those look like painted calipers to me with the slightly smaller Iron discs?

This is a PCCB disc -

I must admit the ones on my Boxster look nothing like that although the caliper looks right the discs do not

there's no way the discs on the SV car are PCCBs ..

RS PCCBs are the same as GT3 PCCBs, as shown in the pic above.

Looks like a well tracked car, probably changed to some sort of steels.

That's rust! Someone's put steel rotors on that.

Add my voice to the choir. That does not look like a PCCB rotor.

If you are thinking about buying a car with PCCBs run don't walk to Total 911 web site and buy its first 50 issues CD and read the 3 part article on PCCBs.

Definately steel replacements - which is fine if you are planning on tracking the car!
To me this would be a good sign as long as you get the original PCCB discs with the car, as it shows that the owner had the right idea/sense with not tracking the PCCBs...

I agree but as has already been mentioned, these disks appear to be non oem as they are not drilled.

It isn't a great picture, but they look like Performance Friction steels to me (a popular option for replacing PCCBs on tracked cars). Putting the PCCB disks in boxes when swapping to steel is also commonplace, so if looking at the car then whether the ceramic disks will come with it is an obvious first question under the circumstances.

IIRC both GEN 1 and GEN 2. My disc is at the office or I'd look it up.

I don't think (for one axle at least) that standard steels will fit with PCCB calipers, so non-OEM discs are a necessity.

Those are PF steels, dimpled, good discs and a sensible change for track.
