does it matter ?

you are not going to choose either car on front looks, you either want the 3.4 or the 2.7 engine.

While I think both look great and my choice would be driven by engine and budget size, personally I prefer the standard Cayman front end.

It wouldn't matter to me either way, but if I couldn't afford an S it would be another reason for me to think, yes, I'll be happy with the standard car.

Definately the S. Don't like the painted parts of the grill.

Interesting to hear your thoughts.

At first I liked the 'S' style, but then warmed slightly to the 'non S'.

The end of the day, it's only a bit of paint, so either can be achieved without too much hassle. I had the front spoilers on my 987 gen 2 guards red Cayman painted before I took delivery, as I hated the original black - it made the front look too high...if that makes sense.

I will probably spec mine black, so either configuration will make no difference whatsoever!!! smile

Standard Cayman looks very F430-ish in that picture!

Quite the fish mouth on the S.

2.7 with the vents painted black. Don't like that extra spoiler thingy much.

Put a number plate on and then see. I don't think there will be much difference in the UK.

The S.

But I also think it would look far better with the Boxsters bumper on it!

Really? I thought the Cayman items are a little more curvaceous. I like the Boxster bumpers ...but on the Boxster only.
