For some reason my son has decided to buy a Taycan, phoned Hatfield, she said that's fine come over, we got there, the receptionist said she will send someone over, several salesmen walked past or though usehile we were there, we climbed in and out of several cars, there were salesmen sitting at desks with no customers, my sone chased the receptionist he spoke to earlier,we got ignored for an hour and left,

All a very odd experience,

I thought the used caymen GT4 they had was a lovely thing, but I've got enough cars.

That’s appalling. It’s not as if they’re selling like hot cakes.

I bought my GT3 from Colchester 25 years ago, it was a great experience, always helpful

I’d been to Hatfield a couple of times a few years ago and definitely found them a bit “cold”

I went there completely unannounced a couple of weeks ago….I was driving to OPC Tonbridge to test drive a Cayenne which I’d booked four days previously. En route I got a “car is in the workshop sorry you can’t drive it” phone call….wasn’t impressed banghead

Went to Hatfield, sales bloke came out to talk to me withing 5 mins of arriving. Didn’t have any used cars but he got a new car out of their storage car park, slapped some trade plates on and off we went. Clearly he tried to sell me a new car (I’m after a 2 year old one) but fair play to him he did everything he could to get me interested. Didn’t even try the “what would work for you”….just offered me a pretty decent discount without even asking.

There are an awful lot of new cars on the Porsche website….

After an horrendous experience with Guildford OPC, I cannot bring myself to go anywhere near Hatfield that is now also PRG owned with many of the same senior people involved.

Just to give a different perspective, my brother in law has dementia and is resident in the care home right next door. On several occasions where we've taken him out for a walk we will go into the Porsche Centre for a look at the cars through the window and someone has come out and invited us in to the showroom for a look around and made him feel very welcome even though there is zero chance of him buying anything. He really enjoys it as he was a big car enthusiast and would have loved to get a Porsche when he was able to.
