Should I buy another Tuscan
Discussion
I know this sounds obvious but hear me out and also I’m looking for advice.
So circa 17 years ago I bought a lovely Rolex blue Mk1 Tuscan. It was sold to someone in Holland a few years later and I hope it’s still going strong. Only reason I sold it was the usual story of wedding, house, kids etc.
I’m now getting to the position where another weekend car is on the cards and I want it to be something I will keep and make my own. Been running the mill on a few options, mainly a F type jag or a Porsche Cayman but the Tuscan itch is still there. Only thing is, I don’t like standard of any of the options and want to put my take on it. Doing a bit of research though, all the suppliers I used to know have disappeared. Found plenty of suspension components and power are about but can’t seem to find body parts such as S style rear boot spoilers, front typhon style grills or even just winglets/splitters.
Have they all dried up? Know I can “build” the jag or Porsche to my spec with a bit of aftermarket work but I have a feeling neither would be a keeper but a Tiv would.
So basically what I’m asking is, where are companies or suppliers that can give me options for parts?
Cheers in advance

It doesn’t have to be a MK1, there’s actually bits I prefer on the MK2, for example rear light setup but prefer the dash in the MK1, especially if it’s been modified by Dave the Trimmer.
As for a fixer upper, that’s what’s in my head as the idea of messing about with a properly sorted car doesn’t sit right.
So yeah, think of it as a MK1.5 😂😂

Have a look at Facebook as some former staff use to make certain items post the TVR closure.
Currently, it's a buyer's market so I hope you can find a nice example and make it your own.
A few years ago, it was hard to find one for less than £30k.
Now, we're in the £23-27k range for decent Mk1 examples on Autotrader.

Strange .. I see 11 on AUTOTRADER with only 3 less than £29.995
Are you a dealer trying to drive down prices
Nope I'm not a dealer and have no interest in whether prices are high or low as I'm not in the market for a Tuscan. Are you a dealer trying to drive down prices

I was looking a few years ago and then opted for a Chimaera for my first enterance into TVR ownership.
I didn't put me off and I think the TVR brand is fantastic and the cars are undervalued as we speak. See some of my previous posts.
