Here's a video of my fuel pump. It seems excessively loud; reminds me of my old race cars, I can hear it running sitting in traffic. I was going to do what I can to quiet it, but wanted to post a video to see if this was 'normal'. I'm in the USA and this is the only TVR I've ever been around. I realize all external pumps are loud, but this is louder than I'd expect and I know sometimes they get louder once they are worn.

I've listened to a bunch of startup videos on youtube and I dont really even hear the pump. If its normal, i'll do what I can to quiet it, if it's not I'll replace the pump.

That's very loud vs my Tuscan pump and others... If it doesn't normally sound like that, it's possibly over working which will lead to premature failure. Could be caused by a blocked in-tank fuel filter (aka sock filter) or blocked injectors. If it struggles at high rpm, it's any combination of those 2 and/or the fule pump deteriorating over time.

If you need a fuel pump replacement, check the TVR Tuscan Parts Wiki pinned to the top of the Tuscan Forum. Btw, there's a TVR tuscan Facebook group that provides better and timelier replies. All the best!
