I'm preparing for a full interior refresh over the winter here. I've read that the windshield needs to come out for the A pillars. I haven't seen any pics of a car without a windshield or any specific tuscan instructions.

I've replaced many windshields in my life; I have a reciprocating windshield saw. Just a little nervous with the fiberglass body. It looks like the outer A-pillar body comes off; then is it straight forward just like any other windshield?

Any knowledge or pictures would be appreciated.

Hi!
Once you've removed the A pillar trims, the rubber surround on the glass, you'll see that the glass is held in with a 'mastic' glue.

I've only ever seen the windscreen fitters use a "cheese wire" to go through the mastic and pull/saw through the adhesive.

Nick.
