Invader from Cerb forum !!!!
I have just fitted some 18 inch spiders and bought locking nuts from Racing Green.
Think I might be missing something (or its dark and I am tired!)
For each wheel I have a special nut with an adaptor to allow the wrench to fit on. Then when fitted I push a silver tin end cap on the nut using a long plastic tool. So that bit is easy!!
But I cant now get the tin end cap off !!! It seems to almost have the indent of a key hole at the end and so I wonder if you are meant to punch a hole in it?! Cant work that way. So wonder if there is another tool that I am missing or if you just use long pliers!?
Help! ?? Do I simply push the black tool hard against the tin cap until it grabs it?
thanks Gary

Not really sure if i should talk to you as you are not of my kind, But here's to multi species interaction. There should be a plastic sleeve which fits tightly over the tin cover. A plunger fits inside this sleeve which can be used as a handle to pull the cover off or press the plunger to push the tin cover out of the plastic sleeve. Magic. If you havent got the sleeve you need something to grip the cover with, maybe blue tack or tape so it doesnt scratch it.

The locking wheel nuts I use on the V8S came with a similar trim cover. They also came with a plastic tool that can be pushed over the cover to pull it off. The plastic tool works but is far from convenient. I just use a pair of ordinary long-nose pliers to pull the cover off.
