Bit concerned, steam pouring out. Both fans running. Temp of water when pulled up 112. Water levels appear fine after cooling.

I’m getting concerned,
A) Above
B) Pod going back cos showing 200mph. (Min £150 cost)
C) Back order on window regulator. (Teeth on motor broken)

MMmmmm, Tufty – but love the car!!!

Ps---- Have warranty, hope its ok.

Could be water temp sensor potentially - mine went and temps went all over the place, overheating twice on me. Fans cut in very late in the day, and too late to do much about the temps once they had exceeded 100c. £13 sensor soon sorting things out.

Sounds like Mustang is correct.

Mine went 3 weeks ago. Water Temp sensor on the engine went up the creek. Got very erratic temp readings then an overheat. It got hot (as the fans were not running)and then coolant started taking the least path of resistance by spraying out of the hose. 30 quid later with a new sensor and all is well. Get it booked in. over 100c is not right.

Cheers

Depends on the temp the fans are cutting in at. If they are kicking in at 94/96 degrees but the temp is still climbing then it does sound like it could be a thermostat/radiator problem. May be worth feeling how hot the air being blown from the rads by the fans is.

My money is on the temp sensor to the engine being duff.
