My Tuscan has been in the garage for 4 days having its 12k service - is this normal?


P.S. its been the best week of weather this year and Ive been driving a Ford KA - ITS ALL SO WRONG!

I'm no expert on these things, but I think the 12K service is a biggie, so it might take a few days I suppose. I just hope it doesn't mean they're doing loads of expensive work to your P & J....

My 18K/36 month service (incl MOT) took 2 days, for what it's worth....

The time can vary particularly if non service item parts are required from the factory. Two days would seem normal for a 12K service if nothing else needs sorting out.

LOL, think yourself lucky, I had a Daewoo!!

(My Tam was 5 days in for its big 12K service, but it was a very thourough and excellent service!)

my last 6k service took just over 2 weeks and i got a skoda. I think for what the work cost i could have just about bought the courtesy car. 12k at power soon.

2 days with Ian At Middlewich MOT (AKA Torque TVR) & as usual fantastic service & dodgy coffee! & Even dodgier courtesy car (Golf GTI a real shed)

i got a skoda diesel estate. that didnt quite get the same attention.

Think it depends on how busy the dealer is, I take mine to TVR Power and because of the disctance I generally try and leave it between weekends. They are usually callling the next day to say it's all been done. 12k service to the best of my knowledge should be an overnighter and no more.
