My woes continue...I now know why I'm having troubles with windows ..my drivers window control is up the creek...chips seems to do everything these days!!. My window doesn't close when I shut the door...so me thinking I'm clever ... I'll open my door put window up manually and then close door...Ooops...Is a Tuscan convertible the only car that up have to have the windows down to close the door??? Otherwise the window hits the A post...unfortunately done some paint damage but lucky not to smash the window....Obviously if the window controller was working I should not have been able do this...something to watch for...even your passenger could inadvertantly do this. Back to the dealers again...may go to Blackpool and take Mr Oxley up on his offer to see him if I had any problems!!!! The lads at Automedon were really helpful explaining the problem to me and the quirks of the microswitches in the doors. If the door partially closes the controller gets confused and doesn't know where the window is...so you have to take the window to close postion manually when door closed to reset...or use the alarm to rest microswitches.
Still love the car despite its challenges....only had it 9 days.
Also told that the window washer plastic tubes are like Citreon but Citreon ones don't melt.

What a pane. You would have thought the designers would have seen through that problem. Maybe you could ask for the units to be replaced under warranty- I hope it doesn't end up in a glazing row.

What other car would you be invited by the MD to visit the factory for a chat? Not Porsche that's for sure! Rich...

Back from dealers...the microswitch had fallen apart and the bits were in the sill...all OK now. The fouling against the A post is worthy of note, it's only about 3/8".
Found out what the domed shaped covers are in the door pockets....drinks can holders!!! Whatever next, we'll have cup holders soon....where's the three handed, four eyed, super human who can drink a can of coke and drive a TVR at the same time.
