Love... Putting my foot down in the dry on a flat road... what a grin, and every single time...
My god do they go wrong a lot though...

Current issues.... any advice please...

On Saturday a gasket blew... great 6ltrs of oil all over the the engine, underside and wheels... (brown pants time I can tell you when that baby fish tailed like a MF at 90)
Anyway had that sorted at a garage but now my speedo doesn;'t work any ideas?

Second, I have a issue with the passanger window. It will not go all the way up, but sounds like it's hitting something, it clinks when it gets to about 1.5cms away from the top at the rear of the windo? Any ideas? Should I attempted to open up myself?

I have the same problem with my Chimera. There is an adjusting screw that can vibrate loose if the window is part way down. It is necessary to readjust this. With the window down find the screw head(it is difficult) on the outside of the glass and turn anticlockwise to raise the window height. Trail and error how much try 2 complete turns to compensate the distance you have. You have to wind the window up to check it. Mat
ybe this helps good luck

Sounds like your first problem is the oil which liberally coated itself on the underside of your car has found its' way between the speed sensor and toothed wheel on your diff.

This doesn't need much to corrupt its' signal, and a thorough clean with some contact spray or similar should sort you out.

Sounds like your speedo sensor has gone too - had the same problem with mine, quick fix from main dealer. This is a common problem and TVR have made several mods to the new sensors to hopefully prevent this happening again.

Allegedly this is not a valid excuse to the police if caught speeding
