Tuscan is how fast ???
Discussion
I have just got me a 4.0L tuscan, it is a fantastic car, I have had many cars in the past including an Evo, STI subaru and a twin turbo 300ZX but none of them put a smile on my face like my new Tuscan, I have been wondering, how fast will it go ?, I have done a few "tests" on the "late night motorway track" but still have not found its limits, what is it ?

Seeing your change up lights come on whilst in 5th is a very surreal experience. Best done on a french test track somewhere between Calais and Le Mans
Yep - fastest road in the world that one!
Saw the the red shift light in fith at Easter on our way to the Nurbugring  'Hanging on' is the best phrase!!!

Iteresting thread guys but have any of you read EVO this month with regard to French :Test Tracks: French police can and will impound car and remove licence for 15 day ban on French soil for speeding in excess of 40 kph over the limit that is approx 105 on the autoroute.
At more then 50kph over the limit the fine rises from 90euros to 750 euros and the ban is for ninimum of 1 month.
Need to pick your spots carefully,EVo had a staffer loose his licence for 15 days and car impounded until legal driver located for 106 mph near Reims.
Dont like to spoil peoples fun ,we make use of french roads at least once a year just so we can make use of the Tuscan, but it does make you think.

I've managed a genuine laser recorded 179mph at an airfield (PH Vmax day), although the speedo was showing nearer 200! Felt great and stopped with no drama at all, although there weren't too many revs left so I don't think much more than 180-185 is on the cards.
Agree about the comments about the French roads though - I've been driving in France at least once a year for the last 4-5 years, and I saw more police on my last trip there (about 4 weeks ago) than I have done on all my previous trips combined. They are really cracking down now
