Tuscan immobiliser problems ????

Can anyone explain how the immobiliser plug thingy in the dash recces works ?, the one with the flashing light and the button alongside....... i have the plug key for it but just dont know the proceedure...

Any help much appreciated...

The plastic key inserts into the slot to disable the imobliser, just the same as pressing the button on the main key, I never actually used it on my MK1 Tuscan. I suppose if your main key/fob battery is flat you can use it. The button at the side of the slot locks both doors & the boot.
