I hope it wasn't anyone here in it. The car looks to have stood up well to being on it's roof though which is reassuring.

I'm impressed with the strength, it looks like its flipped over and stayed reasonably intact - I wonder if the owner is a piston head?

£9250 That seems a bit ambitious.

If you sent that into a TVR dealer and asked them to repair it - surely you would get a 20k bill, its not worth a carrot.

It does look like every part of the body shell is damaged in some way, and I'd question the chassis. The engine/box and running gear should be worth a few quid, especially as it's an S, but I guess only about half what they are asking at most.

The engine had already had 2 rebuilds when I sold it in 2004, but it was a new C/R box and the cans were £600!!!

you can see why its cat D

Reapairs well over 15k, engine not startable bits missing, proably more like 20k min to put back on road..

WILL always be a cat D write off... a 2001 Tuscan s in perfect condition, would proably struggle to get much over £20k at the moment

A cat d reapred one £15-18k if you are lucky..

Edite to add, on autotrader can get a 2000-2001 NON cat d for about 18k

It will not sell......
