Converible centre section refiting.

Hi folks. I'm new to this forum having part exchanged my Chim for a new Tuscan convertible.
I just wondered if anyone else has a problem refiting the centre roof section?
I'm finding it's pulling the rubber back around the windscreen when refited.

all the ones i have seen are the same, targa fits better.I thinks its because fabric does not slid very well

Is that the rubber on the roof itself? I find that rear offside corner tends to get pulled off when putting the roof in the boot. Because its a tight fit I tend to pivot it around on that far right corner to get the left handside passed the fuel tank filler pipe. I've made a small triangular bag out of wagon sheet fabic ,just to put over the corner of the roof to stop pulling the rubber off...not sure if it's goind to work.

It's the rubber around the windscreen which is causing me problems. When fitting the roof it's pulling the rubber off the screen.

Can't say I've had that problem...I always hold the roof high at the rear when slotting under...If in any doubt get it back to the dealer...let them worry about it not yourself...insist they fix it.
