Tuscan 2 minor bonnet

hey, howz it going. looking at the instruction manual, to open the minor bonnet, its easy enough to pull the lever, but then how do you undo the clips on the O/S and N/S as in points C & D in the instruction manual, thank you

just pull them. I went through this with the dealer yesterday, and he admitted it was not the best design in the world.

your right,
its not the easiest job in the world.
i have to pop the middle catch, then get a cable tie ( a nice small one) and tease it under the ends so that i can get a good pull on it to release the catches. also, when you put it backdown, dont slam it, put the bonnet down and slowly lean on the spot where the catches are, about 3 inches from the point of the bonnet, this should get them to catch nicely.

You can adjust (with a spanner) the side clips, undo the locking nut and adjust them so that they line up exactly with the catch in the service bonnet.
When you have them aligned give them a good squirt of wd40, you should be able to just prise them out gentle now.
