Insect removal.

Anybody got any top tips on how to remove suicidal insects from the front of a Tuscan? Not used to having a car I want to clean!

Someone was suggesting using a towel soaked in hot water and draping that over the dirty section. (?)

There are various products available but I'm not sure how suitable they'd be for a TVR. Any ideas otherwise it's the damp towel me thinks.

i bought the lambs wool mitt from meguairs...nice to shampoo the car and other side has a non abrasive bug remover, it works so well too. trust me !

Reckon all the guy wants to know is if the paintwork on a Tuscan would be harmed by some of the bug removing products on sale in places like Halfrauds.

You got it b2tus, perhaps it's the wrong time of the month for dealmaster!!
I'm just being cautious concerning the chemicals I chuck on the front of my car and as some of you guys have much more exprience than I of these cars I thought I'd take advantage of that.

Babywipes!!! How did you discover that? I know we all love and care for our toys but that's just a bit too far.

I find a rinse of water to soften them up and then a wash with a car cleaner/shampoo/whatever you ant to call it, works well. I also find that a hard wax finish also makes getting bugs off easier.
