Drove all the way to plymouth in it and all the way back
Pull out of BP in Hammersmith and the clutch goes!!!
3 hours for the Rac tow truck to come out!!
Not the cheapest thing to do

Still its fixed now!

The nice people at Mole Valley left the old one out to show me what had gone

It looked pretty bad, i wonder if it was my driving?????

Car is back in a week

Bring on the summer

Probably not your driving. Same thing happened to mine, the fingers snap off, I was told it's a common problem after about 20k miles - suppossedly a design fault. At least you got one quickly, I had to wait 3 months last summer before TVR started supplying them to their dealers!

Not seem one like that - I presume the conventional type diaphram clutch was fitted to the easly cars.

How many miles has it done ?

I think all Tuscan, and later Cerbera, clutches are the same. The same happened to mine last December at about 23k miles.

Yep, its a 20k mile thing... As mine went on New Years day.

I was crapping it, as after reading the stories on here about 0 clutches being

avalible in the known universe.

But Westover Sports Cars did the phoning around, and mine was back in a week.

Oh well, 17k and counting until the next one.

I have been told that AP have 60 S6 clutches ready to be shipped at the AP factory/warehouse - they won't send them until their bill has been paid though, meaning that all of us waiting for a new clutch are left without our TVRs - is there nothing at all we can do about this? (short of group buying the 60 clutches!)

How can we get these clutches? Gatwick TVR told me they now have 5 cars waiting for clutches right now, with yours thats 6, Maybe we can buy them direct from AP, they currently have dead stock, better to have 6 sold now than waiting for months. Any suggestions?

I did my clutch at Santa Pod in April after only 12000 mls. Got it to Austec and it was fixed by the end of the week. I think they have them on the shelf.
