Has anyone taken a Tuscan through the car wash ?
Discussion
Well to be honest I would not take mine through one... I would sooner it be dirty
than scratched to sh!t.
The hose pipe ban has not reached me yet, but I think I would find a way around the ban, and
not run the risk of having to visit the body shop.
I always see washing my Tuscan as a pleasure, rather than a chore as you get to see all the design
features up close.

I always use the Bosnian car wash up the road. You know the type where 10 people appear from behind a post and attack the car with chamois and sponge.
They always love the car and give it that little bit extra.
God bless immigration.

Here here. Ours are Polish, and they do a damn sight better job than the lazy t
t Brits at the other 'hand car wash' down the road from them. Only one of them can speak English, albeit badly, but who cares. A top job for £5, you can't go wrong.

:Yup. There are hundreds of places like this in London and most of them do a very good job. I use them nearly every time.

I assume that the question is a joke? The handbook says do not do it.
Apart from the scratching and the possibility of leaks how could the brushes ever clean the swoops and curves on the bonnet?
I would not use a hand car wash either. How do you know what they are washing it with? Washing up liquid? Bath salts? Turps?
Wash it at home, where you can control the method and the products used.

All good points but if (like me) you live in a block of flats then you don't have a lot of options. I don't have an outdoor water supply, I can't clean it in the underground garage, and it would be massively time consuming to carry buckets of water up and down 7 flights of stairs all the time. So I put my faith in the local cleaners who generally do a good job.

I am with Nat! If you cant be Fu**ed leave it alone! Better still throw a bit of loose change at a Koza, not enough to hurt him though , as he needs to wash it for you!

snap i think? the best colour combo i reckon. Hope yours is more watertight than mine was though! it really was shocking for water ingress, if i put mine thru a car wash i would have been drowned by the soap suds long before the brushes came back to wash!!
