engine rebuilds
Discussion
hi all,
am getting nearer to buying my first tuscan !
need some advice
i am looking at maybe getting a tuscan from a local dealer. it has had an engine rebuild but noone knows at how many miles or when ! one of the service invoices says its been rebuilt. i have asked for more info but have been told that tvr blackpool dont give out this info...is this correct ?? would my only chance be to try and contact the previous owner and ask him to try phoning?? anybody have any suggestions ?
i'll be in the gang soon
cheers!

Hi Pac-man,
I had a similar situation. Wrote to the previous owner who was nice enough to call me back and verify it. Also the dealer who sent it in to be rebuilt also confirmed this. Unfortunately its a bit of a trust issue as the factory and dealer will not give out info without a V5 which is of course after purchase.
However another option is a red rose rebuild as they have red rose written on the block in marker pen thus showing that a rebuild has been completed (very sophisticated!)such as mine (which is also for sale BTW - quick plug - see classifieds!)((
