well my much loved tuscan is now up for sale on here but where else works when selling a TVR?

would be very helpfull to hear from other people that have sold a tvr using different forums / magazines. Don't want to throw loads of money placing add where potential buyers don't visit or read if you get what i mean.

thanks as always

good idea but not sure. Do you think that people looking for a tvr would join the club before getting one if that makes sense?

good point I just had a look at their website though and you can look at the classifieds without being a member? I think you need to be a member to place the ad though but not sure.....

Auto trader website is quite good but poss expensive? We've used Top Marques before too.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but does anyone know how the Tuscan second hand market is at the moment? Has anyone had any recent experience of buying or selling their Tuscan that they can share with us?

Due to TVR's recent own goal on the PR front the feedback I get is that TVR prices are in free fall for SP6 models.

Autotrader seems pretty much a waste of time, unles you like dealing with foreigners who want to pay over the odds, or wazzocks who just want to waste your time.

Have you tried trading it in? I guess you have and were offered a derisory sum. I have decided to hang onto mine until it settles down and then make a decision whether to sell.

guys, i spoke to one dealer (who was not tvr) who had it underwritten by a local tvr garage to part ex the car against a different car and the price i got back was very silly but that was when tvr had just announced moving plus laying off some of the staff. The reason given to me was that at the time the future of tvr was unknown so the tvr dealer was covering his back or trying it on...

i will place the add in sprint plus use top marques. i'm not in a hurry to sell but i would like to sell it if that makes sense. i've no deadline for selling it either but this time of year is perfect.

thanks again to all.
