Hiya Mark,

Congratulations on your first PH thread. Hopefully you will get some feed back on the history. If you decide to join the TVR southeast e-group (ref nick Smith yesterday) you may get a better response as it is more local to the area.

Hope you enjoyed the R&C yesterday? We had a nice jaunt down to the Little Brown Jug a bit later after you left, about 12 cars. Porno Fred turned up about 5 minutes after you left. I think his is also the swordfish spec, although I believe his is decatted as it is very loud.

Thanks for the oil, have you managed to call Dream Machines yet and check out the situation?

Have a good week.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Mark,

Welcome to TVR’S mayhem. If you look at the other thread going on “Oil level –hot or cold” it will give you an idea of the confusion going around. If you ask 10 dealers the same question, chances are you will get 10 different answers. Sorry but I can not help better than what I said to you on the day. I believe too much rather than too little, although both are not good.

I will ask my friend David up in Liverpool. He introduced me to his friend’s son, Mike at Blackpool’s “back home”, who is one of the main TVR technicians. He works on the speed 12 and also went out to the states with the car, when they filmed Swordfish.

If the weather is good Saturday morning do you fancy a drive somewhere?

Cheers
Paul
