Yet another problem!!
Discussion
I'm starting to feel that every time I post on this site it's because of ANOTHER PROBLEM.
This time its the power steering fluid. This morning whilst parking up at the office I notice a grinding noise coming from the steering. On closer inspection of the power steering fluid I noticed that it was below the min line, so I topped it up (problem solved). This afternoon i went for my usual lunchtime blat and after only five minutes the noise returned so I pulled over to inspect. This time I looked under the car to see the fluid dripping at quite an alarming rate
. Wanting to know where it was coming from I took the bonnet off checked all the hoses etc but can't see why this is happening. To cut a long story short a flat bed is turning up tomorrow to take her to TVR Barnet. Any ideas why this has happened? Has it happened to anyone else?

Has it happened to anyone else?I had a persistent leak - engine oil, just a few drips in a regular pattern on the garage floor.
Thought it must be the oil pressure sender - it usually is - but no, dry as a bone.....
Checked all the unions of all the oil pipes - nope.....
Checked the engine for gasket leaks, etc - zip.....
It turned out to be the pipe that runs from the oil tank to the oil pump, which runs along the top of the chassis rail for about 3-4 inches.
A small stone had lodged itself between the chassis and pipe and had gradually worn through the pipe.
Until you took the pipe off, there was no way you'd spot it (other than the oil drippage!).
Hopefully your problem is something similar.
Chin up.....
