Instrument Pod Switches
Discussion
Terry is a 2003 Tuscan S which has additional switches on the left hand side of the instrument pod.
The first switch is a black knob that can be rotated, identical to the one used for the wiper delay on the right hand side. Rotating this knob does not appear to do anything.
The second is a small silver toggle switch that when depressed flashes a small red LED to the immediate right hand side of the radio console and causes a bleep that appears to come from behind the radio.
My first thought was that it deactivated the microwave sensor but it doesn't. It also doesn't cut out the siren.
Anybody any ideas what they could be for?

The black knob that can be rotated is probably for your instrument light setting, ie when it is dark, twiddle it and see if your Pod gets brighter or dimmer (instrument lighting). The second problem is probably connected with the central locking. Try winding the windows down whilst sat in the car. Press the button (get the sound) and then try opening the door from the outside (whilst sat in the car - hence the open window). If its not this then I don't know.
