Tuscan 2 gear lever - annoying

Guys,

I guess this must be a common problem - my gear lever sleeve keeps coming loose and then the knob itself is loose and spins round. It's getting to the stage where I have to tighten it up 2-3 times every journey.

Any ideas on what would fix it? Would lock-tite be a good idea?

is this really just me - nobody else had the same thing - it rattles like hell when it comes loose and is really annoying!!

the collar on mine tends to come a little loose and then rattles, I just give it a quick twist back up again. The gear-knob is always solid and never loosens up,

The collar on mine unwindes, but generally only cos I rest my hand on it and you tend to fiddle with it while cruising around. But my "KNOB" is SOLID.
Try something less solid than loctite or give it a good tight SCREW, stick a rag on it get some grips in it and tighten. If that fails loctite is a last resort.
