hi guys, the other week i asked for help with my overheatin and most of u came back with poss temp sensor fault under d airbox.. well i been got a new one and taken me airbox off only to find 2 sensors located their.1 is under 2nd throttle body and is clearly marked as water temp on loom tag..then under the 5th throttle body is another sensor not marked up at all.
my prob is that they are slightly diffrent in the type of loom conection they have.and as is my luck the one that my local parts shop handed over is identical to the 2nd 1 thats not marked as to what it is..
i'v taken the 1st one out now and will pop back tomorrow to show them and see if they can help but just hoped some one here might be online tonight. dnt spose their is one for each fan is their? as only 1 is cutting in. . just a thought.

One sensor is for the ECU to control the fans, the other is for the analogue temperature guage although I am not sure which one is which. If you disconnect the connection plugs one at a time it should be possible to work it out from the display fault codes.

The rear one with the larger plastic plug is for the ECU, the front one is for the dash.
