There is no such model as an 'R' there is an 'RR' Red Rose which is the predecessor to the 'S' model. The model shown as ‘R’ in the advert is a standard Tuscan 2 the Tuscan 2 S in the ad above has the ‘S’ pack which adds the following extras to a standard model:-

Air Conditioning
18” Wheels
Gas Discharge Head Lamps
Close Ratio Gear Box
Up-Rated 4.0 Engine
Up-Rated Suspension
Larger Brakes
Large Bore Exhaust
Front Splitters

I think there was a tuscan R but it turned into the T400R and T440R cars which ended up racing in Le Mans before becoming supercharged and renamed the Typhon. It was a carbon fibre bodied, hatchback style tuscan with two little rear seatlets. Either way it never really made it into production.

.... but I don't think you meant that did you? If not could be the Tuscan RR as in red rose as already mentioned.

I agree with Pits but it is strange that the advert lists the Tuscan as a coupe......just can't be a R though, can it? And the price doesn't suggest its a RR either, does it? I would have thought it would be a little more expensive than the T2S listed above it. Depends on the condition I 'spose..

No it can't be an 'R' a model called the Tuscan 'R' was shown at the 2000 motorshow and looked somthing like this:-

That model never came into production though as they changed it to T400R & T440R and only one of these was produced as a customer car before coming the Typhon. So I should have said the Tuscan 'R' never existed as a production TVR.
