Heater fan motor

Hi, I have just bought one off ebay! Can someone provide an idiot's guide to fitting it? Or should I just put the car i to someone who knows wht they are doing?

Hi,I'm a griff owner but I helped change the hot/cold air flap,left hand side of the bulkhead under the heater matrix.Is this the one you mean?.If this is the one I can help. Dave J.

I think it will be similar. On the Tuscan as you look towards the car from the front it is on the right.

On the left hand side of the bulkhead there is two matrix's,one under each cover.The matrix nearest the wing contains the aircon gas[covered in silver foil].This is screwed to the bulkhead and relativly easy to lift out of the way.DO NOT DISCONNECT ANY PIPES because of the gas.The second matrix contains the hot water which is quite tricky to remove because of usual amount of Sikaflex used[no screws].I cut this with a very sharp knife[mind your fingers]around the base and where it goes through to the dash.Once this is lifted out of the way you will see the motor and the rest is quite easy,just two small bolts and a grub screw which holds the flap to the motor.Check terminals in plug first[that might be the cause].Good luck.
