WANTED MK1 TUSCAN Door Cappings
Discussion
Hi All,
I have just got my Tuscan back after a complete rebuild after a carjacking incident in June 2005. The car is fantastic, it needed a new chassis a lot of bodywork. Gatwick TVR did a great job but had to replace the old door cappings with new ones. Trouble is the new ones are spray painted not the polished finish of the originals. Being a picky bastard I am trying to get hold of a pair of original spec ones to replace. Can anyone help?
Oh BTW I also had a full top & bottom engine rebuild together with new clutch assembly and gearbox from Autocraft at the same time. Once you get used to the nature of the clutch the new set up is mind blowing. I don't remember the car sounding this good or accelerating as quick - and I am only using half the revs at the moment.
I now have the perfect car. Well as soon as I get those door cappings.
Cheers
Nick
