After getting the car last weekend, it braking down on the way home and coming home in an AA low loader, then going straight to Castle TVR only to find out the engines nackered, the saga continues.

The car's running fine, if a bit tappety, but now the head lights keep switching themselves on and sometimes off, but mostly just on. When I go out to try and turn them off, I can only get them to go off by starting the engine, an even then its itermitent. I finally get them to go off, I then go back indoors, a few minutes later they're bloody on again. This car is driving me crazy!!

I would go with the relay,or even the main switch its self? Even if it`s not that pull the relay out at least you won`t have a flat battery in a couple of hours, i take it you know where the fuse box is? and which relay it is?

I've sussed it! It seems if I push the stork on the steering column forward to the main beam position, then switch the lights off, they go off and stay off! Simple really, should've known!!!
