Hi all, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Have a minor problem (I hope) with my MK1 Tuscan!!!

When I put the key in the ignition and switch her on the brake lights are on permanently!!! Im assuming that they are the break lights as they are bright and if I put my foot on the break I get nothing (ie no brighter). So the only other option would be that the rear lights are always on and the break lights are failing.....almost sure its the break lights always on....certain infact!!

Any ideas???? Im having to use her as an everyday car at the mo so need to sort it and would much rather have a go myself!!!! But bear in mind im pretty clueless....I just love doing the driving!

Thanks all in advance!!!

possibly the switch behind the brake pedal is broken or needs adjusted. I had this problem and the lights would stick on and the switch just needed adjusting. You will need to undo the allen key screws and remove the alloy cover around the pedals.

called the TVR Centre today and they said come straight down!!! Fitted me in as my only car at the mo!!!!

Needed new brakelight switch, whilst there also got the idle adjusted and new wiper bits (Where the heat from the engine had melted it) fixed also........Great service, im a happy man!!!

The TVR Centre have every intention of staying open and staying as a main dealer (If there is going to be such a thing.)
