Just wanted to say hello to the Tuscan Forum thumbup

I picked up my nearly new Tuscan convertible. Bought yesterday from London TVR who proved to be very easy and open to deal with. The cars an April 06, standard convertible with anthracite alloys, air con, and black full hide interior with pumpkin inserts and roof lining which sets off the Arancio Pearl exterior perfectly.

Drove it back from London to the North East, and loved every mile. I'll get some better pictures once the weather improves, but in the interim, i've updated my profile pic to show the car... lick

Hi Paul.

Looks great! lick

This is the self same car that was found wanting by some old fart in Sprint this month? Too orange or something? hehe

Any particular reason why you bought in London and not in Hexham or Harrogate?

It is indeed the very same car mentioned in Sprint, but it wasn't one of the Blue-chip fleet as suggested by Simon, it's been the personal transport of Kris from London TVR, in addition to an appearance in the Conservative 'Tosser' credit card advert, and used with Nigel Mansell on the GP Masters parade lap. Let's just say that it's not too orange for me!!

I would have loved to have bought from Tony at Hexham who is my closest dealer, as i have the upmost respect for their service, but neither Hexham or indeed Drivestyle had anything available in such a unique colour. It was a heart v head purchase, and the heart one!

I just hope it stops raining this weekend... driving

Thanks Al, This will be my third TVR, so i'm no stranger to the Marque, and this Tuscan just blows the other into the distance on ride quality, performance, and just total 'wow' factor. cloud9

Go on Ian, you know you really want to! They really are fantastic cars, and i've not missed the V8 noise for a second. The Speed 6, has a very addictive noise all of it's own. Once the roads are a little dryer, i may even take it over 3,500 rpm....... thumbup

Lovely motor, I nearly went for the very same car just after London TVR opened, I saw it at their open evening, thought it was beautiful, I think Kris specced it up, did a bloody good job! In the end I bought a S vert. from them in Moonraker Black, yes I know, a bit boring, I didn't want to stand out TOO much! Maybe next time.

Well done and enjoy.
